September Nutshell

by Ginger, Marcia, Sue and Frank

Neither Sue, nor Frank nor Aviva could make it to the September meeting. None of the three will be able to make it to the October meeting, either. Apparently, not many others could, either. Since attendance was so limited, Ginger didn't take notes. The following is based on the information she sent to Sue a few days after the meeting.

Rain in September? What is Mother Nature thinking?!? While several of us hit a drizzle en route to the meeting, the park was still dry and the weather warm enough to sit outside. However, only three of us dared brave the clouds to attend (Ginger, Margaret and Marcia), plus two first-timers, Laura and Joyce. No one voiced any particular preference for a date for the December potluck and gift exchange. No other old business. No new business. Marcia took a few pictures but we didn't do much in the line of show 'n tell. Ginger was spinning white mohair. Laura was spinning a wool/silk mix. Ginger thinks the others were spinning wool. The meeting broke up at noon because four of the five people attending needed to leave. Ginger decided to leave as well.

Treasurer's Report

There was none.

Old Business

There was none.

New Business

Since the meeting, some have expressed a preference for our December meeting to be on the 19th. Marcia has been asked to let the park know that is our preference. We'll see how well that goes.br />
